How to Create a QR Code for Your Restaurant Menu

May 10, 20265 min readBy Mind Vision Software Solutions

Step-by-step guide to replacing paper menus with a digital QR menu that you can update any time — no reprint needed.

Why QR Menus Make Sense

Paper menus are expensive to reprint every time prices change, dishes are added, or seasonal specials arrive. A QR code menu solves all of this. Customers scan, get your latest menu instantly, and you update it from your phone in 30 seconds.

Step 1: Create a Menu QR on Photon QR

Log in to photonqr.com, click Create QR, and choose "Restaurant Menu" from the QR type grid. Upload your menu as a PDF, or link to your existing menu page. Fill in the restaurant name, cuisine type, and hours. Click Publish.

Step 2: Download and Print

Download the QR code as a high-resolution PNG or SVG. Print it on table tents, at the entrance, or on your existing printed materials. A 5x5 cm print is perfectly scannable from 20–30 cm distance.

Step 3: Update Any Time

When your menu changes, log in to your dashboard, find the Menu QR, click Edit, upload the new PDF or update the link, and save. Every existing print automatically shows the updated menu within seconds.
