Want to know if anyone scans it?
This file points straight at Google, so nobody counts the scans — not us, and not Google either. A Photon QR account puts a link you control in the middle, so you can see the scans and change where it points without reprinting.
Paid plans also have Smart Review, which shows customers suggested wording to tap and copy before sending them to Google, and gives the ones who would rather not post publicly a private form instead.

It is in your Business Profile, under Ask for reviews, on a desktop browser. Right-click, save image. If a bare code on a white square is all you need, use that one — it is the same link and it costs nothing.
What it does not give you is something to put on a counter. That is the gap this fills.

Smart Review, if a link on its own is not enough
The file above is a printed link — a customer scans it and Google opens. Smart Review is a different QR type you make in the dashboard, which puts a page of your own in front of that.
Suggested wording they can tap and copy
The reason most people do not leave a review is not that they are unhappy — it is that they are standing at a counter with no idea what to type. Smart Review offers ready-made lines they tap to copy, then sends them to Google with it on the clipboard. You can write the lines yourself or let them be drafted from what you want feedback on.
A private channel as well as the public one
Not everyone wants to post in public. Smart Review gives customers a private form as an alternative, and those responses land in your dashboard with an optional email or phone number so you can follow up.
Happy customers to Google, the rest straight to you
Customers rate you first. A good rating sends them on to your public review page with the wording ready to paste; anything below the line you set goes to a private form instead, so you hear about it before anyone else does. You choose where that line sits — three, four or five stars.
Smart Review is available from the Basic plan up. The templates on this page stay free and point straight at Google.
How to do it

Get your review link from Google
Open your Google Business Profile on a computer and choose "Ask for reviews". Google shows a link ending in /review. Copy it. This only works on a desktop browser — the option is not in the mobile app.

Paste it above and add your name
The tool checks whether the link opens the review box or only your listing, and says so before you print anything.

PDF for a printer, PNG for a quick job, SVG if your printer wants vector. Turn on bleed and crop marks if the print shop asks for them.

What the free templates do, exactly
They encode your Google review link and nothing else. No rating step, no redirect through us, no account, and no logo that is not yours to print. Download the file and it keeps working whether or not you ever sign up.
If you want a rating step and a private channel for customers who would rather tell you than post, that is Smart Review — a different QR you make in the dashboard, not this file.
Questions
Does Google not already give me a QR code?
It does. Google Business Profile has an "Ask for reviews" panel with a QR code you can right-click and save, on desktop. What it gives you is a bare code on a white square — no heading, no stars, no print sizing. This page puts that same link onto artwork you can hand to a printer.
Is this really free, and do I need an account?
Free, and no account. Nothing you type is stored — the artwork is built in your browser and the download never touches our servers.
What size should I print it at?
The counter templates are 4×6 inches, which is the size most acrylic stands take. The table plate is 3.5×3.5in. Everything is generated at 300dpi, so it stays sharp at those sizes.
What are bleed and crop marks, and do I need them?
Bleed is 3mm of extra background outside the cut line, so a slight misalignment on the guillotine does not leave a white edge. Crop marks show the printer where to cut. A commercial print shop will usually ask for both. If you are printing at home, leave the option off.
Can I see how many people scan it?
Not with this file. It points straight at Google, and Google does not report scans back to you. If you want the count, create a Photon QR account and use a dynamic link — the QR points at a short link you control, which forwards to Google, and you see every scan.
Can I change where it points after printing?
Not with this file — the Google link is encoded directly into the code, so changing it means reprinting. A dynamic link can be re-pointed from the dashboard, which matters if you move premises or change the business name.
Why is there no Google logo on the templates?
Google's logo is their trademark, and putting it on material you print and display is a permission question we would rather you did not inherit from us. The templates say "Google" in plain text, which carries the same meaning to a customer.
Do these templates ask for a rating before showing the Google link?
No. The free templates encode your Google review link directly, so a scan opens the review box and nothing sits in between. If you want a rating step, a private feedback channel and suggested wording for customers who do not know what to write, that is the Smart Review QR type on a paid plan — a different QR, made in the dashboard, not this file.
